Almost all of the ads on the actual Bornagain.com email pages are from Everyone.net, that runs the service, so we apologize in advance if their ads are inappropriate, but that is the only way for us to run a free service.
Rules, Scams, Spam, and Abuse from Bornagain.com Users
There have been a number of scams, spam, and abuse involving users of our free email service. This is a FREE service, and WE DO NOT RECOMMEND OR ENDORSE BUSINESSES, MISSIONARIES, OR OTHER OPERATIONS USING OUR FREE EMAIL ADDRESSES. There have been a number of reports of fake charities and missionaries using our free email service. These accounts are for personal use and should not be used in business or commercial transactions. Since the email service is subject to suspension and termination, we ask that you not use these accounts for business transactions. Always triple check before sending money to another person. Be sure to read all the detailed rules and agreements at the bottom of the page once you have successfully registered and logged into your account.
Internet Spam, Abuse, Account Suspension
Report all spam and problems to abuse@everyone.net and include the complete headers and content of your email. It is important to contact abuse@everyone.net instead of Christ.com, since everyone.net is responsible for email management. If your account has been suspended, contact abuse@everyone.net to resolve the matter.
Internet SCAMS
- Assume that any business transaction through the internet is a scam, unless you have detailed verification that it is legitimate. Never trust a business just because it has an email account through Bornagain.com !!!
- NEVER send money to a potential seller of goods or services using Western Union or Money Gram. Many scams for merchandise (like puppies) ask for payment by Western Union.
- NEVER accept payment (if you are a seller) for more than the asking price. A common scam is to overpay for an item, and then ask you to refund the difference. The scam works when they cash your refund check, and the check they send you fails. Always wait for checks to clear your bank, which may take a week or more. A check has not "cleared" when you cash it at your bank. Ask your bank when the check clears.
- NEVER buy items, or invest in things that appear "to good to be true". They are almost always scams.
- NEVER assume that somebody using a Bornagain.com address is reputable. A number of scammers state that they are ministers or missionaries. They use the Bornagain.com address to gain your confidence (this is why it is called a "con game", since they plead on your symphathies and try to gain your confidence).
- ALWAYS ask for multiple contact points. A reputable dealer will ALWAYS give you a telephone number, a postal address (standard mail), and other references. Even if they do supply multiple contact methods, never assume they are reputable.
- The law requires a U.S.D.A license to breed, exhibit or sell exotic animals. Ask the dealer to supply you with copies of their license, and then check that license with the USDA. Almost all transactions involving exotic animals on the Internet are scams.
- Use an escrow service, like www.Escrow.com, or www.PuppyEscrow.com for payments. DO NOT use an escrow service that is not well known. DO NOT use an uncommon escrow service suggested by the seller (or buyer). Consider using www.Paypal.com for payments, and make the seller guarantee receipt of goods.
- Transactions that are international (i.e., between a seller in Africa and the USA) are frequently fraudulent, and are impossible to track when their is trouble.
- Check a dealer's reputation with the Better Business Bureau, www.BBB.org
- Request a personalized photo of the item you are purchasing. For example, ask them to send a photo that includes something in the picture that YOU request, like a picture of a dog next to the latest newspaper with recent headlines. Do NOT let the seller suggest what to put in a personalized photo. Do NOT accept excuses for not supplying a photo. This is helpful, but not foolproof, since photos can be faked.
Filing a Complaint with the FBI
If you have been scammed, contact the authorities:
- The Fraud Complaint Center (IFCC) was established by the FBI and the National White Collar Crime Center. You can file an on-line complaint with the IFCC by going to www.ifccfbi.gov.
- A good source of information on avoiding Internet scams can be found on the Federal Trade Commission's website at www.ftc.gov/bcp/menu-internet.htm . The FTC has a toll free hotline: 877-FTC-HELP (877-382-4357)
- The Internet Complaint Center is another good place to file a complaint, www.ic3.gov

I really desire to fullfill a desire the Lord promised me a few years ago the problem was i had a mountain in the way and doubt and fear i so wanna start training again though i have know employment for it and with my acting career which has come to a halt, well if it ever did start not to sure please pray that my career path be opened and the promise of the Lord which he showed me will finally start and be used to testify to others that limitations and weaknesses is when the Father and our the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior work best, thank you tonnes and tonnes for praying and may all your prayers be answered as the Lord always answers on time Amen

I need a job, I am behind in child support and have til the 8th of this month to explain way I haven't paid. If i don't have a good reason a bench warrant will be issued. I have been in school full time. I live with my parents and have been trying to better my situation with education so I can put a end to the jobs w/o benefits and low pay. my kids live an hour from me and I never have the money to see them even when I was working making min. wage. I am just about done with school now and I am having a hard time finding a job that I went to school for because most want 2-5yrs exp. I am a christian. but have been struggling with why my prayers aren't being heard.

I know that you know what I need/want God, but I feel hopeless. Hopefully I'm not being selfish by asking for these things. First, I am sorry for my many failings, and I'm sure you don't care and that I deserve this pain and misery. I've ruined everything, and lost all to the point where everything is a struggle. I am sorry I let my negativity and bad feelings get the best of me, and cause her to cheat and leave me. I'm sorry I chose a stupid profession to pursue. I'm sorry i lost my friends and I'm shy and weak. If I could ask of some things. First, if (and only if) it would be good for her, please please let her come back into my life. If not, then please let her be happy and lead a blessed life. I just need a sign, or some reason to continue. Give me some guidance please. Please let me find a good job, that I may be fully independent, and (if it is your will) close myself off from the world. Please let me have some companionship, a friend, someone who loves me when they don't have to. I just want a life, with people, and a future. Please I need some hope or some happiness. If none of this is possible, let me die, for I can't take this hell any longer. I desperately need some relief. Finally, please bless my family, any friends I have or had, anyone on this board, and anyone who needs you. Thnak you

Dear brother and sister in Jesus Christ Please pray for me. I feel despair and loss of hope. My relationship with my loved one who has been running five years were destroyed. Too many of our past together, in love and in grief. In my heart I feel he is my soulmate and I believe his promise to never leave me for the sake of any kind and will go through everything with me. But that ensues is he engaged to another woman just because his parents don't agree with our relationship and he's too afraid to fight to win our love. I am so sad, as if there is a part of myself that are taken for granted, I slumped out alone, and could only pray each time in order for the Lord to help me. It seems like only a miracle could make him come back at me. Only he who I wanted to accompany my life. Please pray that there is a miracle, just on the hand of the Lord I submit all of these issues.

god has been good to me but i was not doing the things that i needed to be doing my family not taking them to church. then i caught my wife having internet sex with men that broke my hart and almost destroyed my marriage i turned to god he forgave me for what i was not doing i know this i could fill it in my hart but i'm still having trouble forgiving her i need to let this go.turn my hart toward god.i know what i need to do just need help doing it please pray for me and my family.
